Winston Churchill once said your attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference. That may be so, but I look at it a bit differently. I say your attitude is a huge thing and if you don’t get it right, then you’ll find yourself in a huge mess. Or at the very least going nowhere. Only the best is good enough, even in sales.
Only the Best
Your attitude should reflect the fact that only the best is good enough. Not just sales but everything you do should be a reflection of wanting to be the best.
It’s not an arrogant attitude, it is simply a statement that sets the tone to help you get better at what you do. Nobody starts a race to come in second. Start right now and tell the world that for you, only the best is good enough.
You’ll come a whole lot closer to achieving just that than you will if you just muddle through life carelessly.
If you want to be the best, and I sure hope you do, here are three things you can do right now to get your head in the game.
- 1. Look in the mirror and proclaim to the world that you are the best at what you do. – You’ve got to believe it to achieve it.
2. Start with your end game in mind. You have to see yourself winning.
3. Work your plan. Without it, you won’t know if you win. If you don’t have a plan, refer back to number one and repeat.
These three things may seem simple and a bit trite, but if you don’t believe you are the best, and you can’t see yourself living your dream, and you have no plan for your life, then what’s your suggestion?
The point is this, you have to have the right attitude to get the most out of you. Attitude is not an outward expression, rather it’s an internal reflection of your inner being.
Remember, Only the Best Is Good Enough.
